For youth & scholastic coaches

Coach young athletes. Keep the parents in the loop.

Coaching minors comes with a second set of rules — consent, oversight, and a parent who needs visibility. Raelan is the only connected platform built for it: guardian accounts with a real audit trail, waivers signed in-app, and an account that hands itself to the athlete the day they turn 18.

The wedge nobody else has

Guardian accounts, built for real life

Link a parent to their athlete with full oversight. The guardian books, pays, signs waivers, and follows progress — and every action is logged. Then, automatically, at 18, the account becomes the athlete’s own.

  • Full oversight — programming, schedule, payments, and progress in the parent’s view.
  • Audit trail — every guardian action recorded, so consent is never in question.
  • Automatic handoff at 18 — ownership transfers to the athlete with all history intact.

Onboarding a minor

Consent handled before the first rep

Set an athlete up with a guardian attached, send the intake form, and have the waiver signed in-app by the parent — all recorded. Build the program before they ever log in with a shadow account, then hand over a claim code.

  • Guardian-signed waivers, recorded against the athlete
  • Custom intake forms that land in your pipeline
  • Shadow athletes ready to claim on first login

Programming for developing athletes

Assess, warm up, and progress by design

Young athletes need movement screens and real warm-ups, not just a workout. Build assessments and retests to track development, attach warm-ups to every session, and program waves that scale as they grow.

  • Assessment + custom test builder for movement screens
  • Warm-up builder attached to each program
  • Automatic PRs and Show Last as they progress

Teams, groups, and the money

Run the squad — and let parents pay

Coach a whole training group with semi-private overlap and class spots, message every parent at once with tags, and let guardians pay with memberships, packages, and autopay so a season bills itself.

  • Group sessions & semi-private overlap with per-athlete states
  • Tags that message the whole team — or all the parents
  • Guardian pays: memberships, packages, autopay

The moment that matters

On their 18th birthday, it becomes theirs.

No migration, no new account, no lost history. The guardian steps back, the athlete steps in, and every streak, PR, and program they built over the years comes with them. It’s the kind of detail that only happens when one system runs the whole relationship — and it’s exactly why coaching the next generation belongs on Raelan.

Coaching young athletes: common questions

How does Raelan handle parents and minor athletes?

Through guardian accounts. A parent is linked to their child with full oversight and a complete audit trail — they can see programming, book and pay, sign waivers, and follow progress. Everything a guardian does is logged, so there’s never a question of who did what.

What happens when a young athlete turns 18?

The account hands over automatically. On their 18th birthday, ownership transfers from the guardian to the athlete — no data migration, no new signup, no lost history. Their streaks, PRs, and program history all come with them.

Who signs waivers for a minor?

The guardian signs in-app before training, and it’s recorded against the athlete’s account. No printing, no chasing paper, and it’s clear who consented and when.

Can I coach a whole team or training group?

Yes — group sessions and semi-private overlap are first-class, with per-athlete payment states, class spots, and tags that message the whole group (or all the parents) at once.

Do parents pay, and can I run monthly programs?

The guardian pays with a card on file — memberships, session packages, and autopay all work the same way, so a season or a monthly program bills itself.

Is the guardian system available now?

Yes. Guardian accounts, the audit trail, and the automatic handoff at 18 are built. Founding coaches get everything free during the rollout.
