Is Raelan really free?
Yes. There is no monthly fee and no seat fee, and you can add as many clients as you like. Raelan earns only when a client pays you by card.
Who pays the 4%?
Your client, on top of your rate, along with card processing. For a $90 top-up their card is charged $96.71, and $90 goes to you.
What is card processing?
The card network’s cost, about 3.1% plus 30¢, charged through Stripe. It is added to what your client pays, never taken from your rate.
Do Zelle, cash, and check cost anything?
No. Payments you record carry no fee. Recording them is a Pro feature, free for every coach until February 2027.
If I refund a client, are the fees refunded?
You can send back what they paid by card, but the Raelan fee and card processing are not returned.
How do I get paid?
Through your own Stripe account, which you set up in the app. Card payments go straight to it, and Stripe sets the payout timing.
When do volume rewards start?
We are still setting the details. When they are ready, we will publish how they work here before they begin.
