How it works

Booking sets the money aside without charging anything. When you mark the session done, it is paid from their balance or their credits.
You keep the rate you set.
Raelan’s fee and card processing are added to what the client pays, so a $90 session pays you $90. Card payments go to your own Stripe account.

Questions
How much does Raelan take?
4% of each card payment, plus card processing of about 3.1% and 30¢. Both are added to what your client pays, so a $90 top-up charges their card $96.71 and $90 goes to you. Zelle, cash, and check payments you record carry no fee.
How do I get paid out?
You set up payouts through Stripe’s own sign-up, which checks your identity and connects your bank. Card payments go to your Stripe account, and Stripe sets the payout timing.
Can clients pay with Zelle, cash, or check?
Yes. Your client records the payment in the app, you confirm it in Finance, and it is added to their balance and your Collected total.
Is there autopay?
Yes, and your client turns it on. When their balance drops below a few sessions’ worth, autopay tops it back up from their saved card. It pauses itself while a membership covers their sessions.
How do refunds work?
From Finance you can refund a session to their balance, add a goodwill credit, or send money back to their card, up to what they paid by card. Raelan and card processing fees are not refunded.
When is a client charged for a session?
Never at booking. Money is set aside when they book, and the session is paid from their balance or credits when you mark it done, or automatically 24 hours after it ends.
